BVS was established in 1986 and is one of Turkey’s leaders on the material-handling and hoisting equipment market. The company employs 350 staff and boasts 26,000 m² in production facilities, sales offices in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir, franchisers with national scope, and cooperative agreements with renowned industry players. BVS’ overhead travelling cranes and gantry cranes are exported to over 30 countries in Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Quality has always been BVS’ priority. As a result, all of its equipment is tested and complies with various certifications: EN ISO 9001 2000, TÜV and CE certificates by TÜV. BVS’ further credentials include DIN EN ISO 3834-2 certification (European welding Quality and Compliance certificate), OHSAS 18001 (British health and safety management system), ISO 14001 2004 (environmental management standard) certification, GOST R (Russian compliance certificate) and ROSTEKHNADZOR (RTN) (permit to operate in Russia). BVS’ cranes have been awarded the certificate of quality from the Turkish Standards Institute, which complies with DIN and FEM standards.
With its in-house engineering department, BVS designs, produces and sells its products and continuously improves its range through the implementation of an active research and development programme.

After-sales services, such as maintenance and the provision of spare parts, are performed by BVS’ Service and Maintenance team based at its plant in Sincan (Turkey).
